Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This site is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, forms or ads, uses no cookies, and collects as little as it can. This page explains what it does handle, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law.

Who is responsible

Raúl Mouzo, A Coruña, Spain — hello@raulmouzo.com.

What data is handled, and why

  • If you email me: your address and whatever you write, used only to reply to you. The legal basis is your own request (taking steps you asked for) and my legitimate interest in answering. I keep the conversation while it's useful and delete it whenever you ask.
  • Visit statistics: I use Umami, an analytics tool I host myself, to count visits in aggregate — which pages are viewed, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't keep your IP address or anything that identifies you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. The data stays with me and isn't shared.
  • Hosting: the site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, it processes technical data from each request (such as your IP address, browser and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure, and briefly keeps it in logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the site.
  • Videos: project recordings are streamed by Mux, Inc., which receives the technical data needed to deliver them (such as your IP address and browser). Their viewer analytics are turned off. Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing my work.

Other images, such as contributors' GitHub avatars and video thumbnails, are fetched by the site's own server, so your browser doesn't contact those services.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies, and doesn't store anything on your device (no local storage either), so there's nothing to consent to. Its fonts are served from this site too, not from third parties.

Who else receives data

No one beyond the providers above, which handle data on my behalf only to provide their service. I never sell or share your data. Vercel and Mux are based in the United States; transfers to them are covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format, by writing to hello@raulmouzo.com. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated, with the date above.
